I switched to an electric razor about five years ago and this is the best one I’ve found. My previous one was very good but it irritated my skin and shaved poorly around the curve of my chin. This one eliminates that issue completely. The shave is close and gentle to my skin, leaving no redness or irritation. I can use it while I shower with shaving cream and I definitely like that. Cleaning is easy too. Just hit the button at the front of the heads and pop it open for a quick rinse. The heads are easily replaceable as well. I’ll be honest, I didn’t make using the app a habit. I didn’t find it absolutely necessary for shaving. I didn’t like the green and amber motion sensor at first either but that’s on me. I kept getting the amber alert telling me my motion was inefficient and I felt judged :) . I didn’t realize how much I wanted it to be green until I finally got it and I felt a sense of satisfaction. Now I get the green every time and, yes, my shave is closer. What are ya gonna do? I like this shaver a lot and I’m happy to upgrade to it.
